Portfolio Creation

In Photography by Joshua Fagans2 Comments

One of the reasons I started the blog was to add some structure to my photography. I wanted a place where I could share my photos and talk about my experiences. I thought that having a blog would push me to take more photos and force me to reflect on the work. In a world filled with the impermanence of Facebook, Instagram, and Snapchat I realize that I am choosing an odd path. I don’t even know if people read blogs anymore. If you find this and want to join me all the better. I’d love to hear from you.

In addition to having different projects my intent is to keep a portfolio as well. For me this will be what I consider my best photos where that is 100% subjective. I will try to have it be the photos that resonate with me the most. In the interest of development I will endeavor to create a portfolio regularly so that I can track how things change.

Without further ado here is the first portfolio. It is mostly some older work but they are definitely photos that resonate with me.
